For example, after a 10 hour break and with a full 11 hour clock I drive 30 minutes to a customer. I then go off duty for two hours thus extending my 14 hour window. Then I go into the sleeper berth at the end of that day. I do this all of the time.
My question is, could I drive an hour after unloading and stop for another 2 hour minimum and pause my 14 hour clock again?
Split break question

Yup. Only once.FullMetalJacket and Dna Mach Thank this.

No. And you have to remember to log at least 8 hours in the sleeper when you shut down or your elog will flag a violation even if you took a 10.

Well...if you manage to take the long break first, then you sort of can bc the short break will complete the split and give you more time.

Going off duty does not extend your 14 hours. 14 hours is 14 hours, punch to punch.
-
It does if you go off duty for two consecutive hours or more

That’s incorrect. Off duty or sleeper berth for a minimum of 2 hours will pause your 14.Opus, FullMetalJacket and Carpenter Scotty Thank this.

Just don’t do it. Not worth the hassle.
Minor error can be expensive.
Sure you may be able to stop the 14 hour clock, but still can’t exceed your 11 hour drive time.
That will be part of your day, regardless of your actual start time. -
Do you guys really not take advantage of that? I can't imagine being without it
