Paid less mileage than actual . Will loose atleast 70 to 90 miles on each trip. Identify deductions. Pay Check horible.

That's how it generally goes...most companies pay "as the crow flies" mileage, not actual driving miles. Those are going to be different because you can only drive on roads, which have turns and such, never a straight line.

A little research on here would yield my post from about 2 months ago about the swift class action lawsuit that is allowed to go forward against swift from drivers who have been shorted on miles over the years.

Someone didn't do enough research on how OTR mega fleet drivers are paid.

You mean they don't pay hub miles. I'm shocked....

Do they at least pay "practical" miles? Or HHG miles?

    No
No, I don't know what they pay, but I talked to somebody at payroll. They said they pay "ZIP Code to ZIP Code. Sometimes it benefits you, sometimes it doesn't." I have not once seen my GPS tell me I would drive shorter miles than what I was dispatched. They always dispatch a certain number of miles and I'm driving up to 50 more.

They pay HHG and if the op went through orientation it would be known before the fact. Would ANYONE accept a "normal" 40 hour a week job without knowing what the pay would be. I doubt it. This entire post, except for the comedy, is irrelevant ########.
