Whoa there, it goes both ways.
I always got upset with people who did that but I also made sure I wouldn't cut off others in a truck and tell that to my drivers so we don't have people like me calling the company and complaining.
The route I take is partial rural and then freeway for 80% of the trip, and I routinely get cut off by trucks with no turn signals who want to pass another truck because they are going 60 and the truck that just cut me off is going 62, there is now a dual going on between these two idiots and we are stuck in the back of them.
Then this morning I am going up US23 and I get in the left lane to pass a row of trucks, I am going about 74, and here is this casicadia pulling a flat on my *** blinking his lights trying to get me to move, I won't, I refused to move out of his way and slowed down until I had an exit so I could come up behind him and get his truck number. I don't care what hurry he is in, don't need that crap in the morning. By the way it is on my dash cam and the video was sent to his company's safety department.
Then on the way back I am going down another freeway with four lanes, I am getting ready to get off the freeway in three miles so I get into the near right lane behind five other cars passing a Michigan train that just got onto the freeway and is picking up speed. we are doing 75, and all of the sudden this idiot turns on his left turn signal and flies into our lane going 45, almost causing a hell of an accident. I am now stuck behind the two cars, can't get around him and missed my exit, I wasn't too happy about that and got on the radio telling the idiot he needs to lose his license for that move.
Then I am almost home, I get about five truck lengths behind a truck who keeps brake checking everyone who gets near him, I mean a truck length or maybe two, he is slamming on his brakes. I got off the freeway and as I crossed the bridge, I could see he was doing it to anyone approaching him. His company also got video sent to him plus I know the VP of operations at that company, I sent him an email to his personal account with my questioning him what kind of drivers has he been hiring lately.
So dude to me it goes both ways, most of the drivers in trucks are somewhat courteous but it only takes the idiot behind the wheel to cause other drivers not to give a crap of what we have to put up with.Lepton1, Just passing by and x1Heavy Thank this. -
I've said it before and I will say it again, if you can't slow down for five seconds to let another truck pass you, you either have piss poor trip planning skills, or you are just an unprofessional prick. Truck was passing me today, morning rush hour traffic, holding about 20 cars up because he had blocked the left lane from way back. I knocked off the cruise and watched the moron with his headphones in mindlessly listening to music pass by then come on over on top of me. Typical lowbrow seat warmer new generation mentality. My satisfaction is that I am home daily and probably making more than him.
