Newbie flatbedder here so go easy....how do you hold those corner protectors in place while tarping that look triangular on the bottom with a raised smooth knob on top? I don't see a strap holding them in any way so I'm confused. Thanks in advance for the lesson!

Gorilla tape, nails, staple gun, magnets, tarp straps, 2" straps, jamming them under the top sheet, c-clamps, steel banding; I've done it all. Do whatever works for that particular load.

Everyone has given some great ideas. Just keep in mind, that some receivers will reject loads with tape residue, staple holes, nail holes, etc. as damaged. Just use some (not so)common sense and you'll be fine.

Northern Tools sells 10x10 cargo blankets for $15. I keep 8 of them rolled up under my bunk for when ever the need.

15 bucks is crazy. I got my 2 for free from a bedbugger. Starting to look for more. Should be able to buy them for just a few to 5 bucks off of them.

Cintas rubber bottom foot traffic mats work a whole lot better. Good luck finding them, though. I've had the best luck with welding shops that have burned holes in them and had to pay the deposit to get clean ones.

Pig mats with a chain ptotector riveted to the edge to keep them from sliding off the corner under a strap work pretty well, too. Just carry a drill to get the rivets out when needed.
