Actually - though nobody pays attention I'm sure, ny activity on here usually consists of a flurry of activity for a half hour or so, then dead silence for hours or days at a time.
I use it to unwind after a shift, as she rolls us down the road, before going to bed, or when i'm at home and have a few minutes to gooof off. The addition of a wireless keyboard to the tablet has made me a potential pest online.
I don't do Twitter, Facebook, and rarely email anymore, so it's my 'trade specific' social networking tool. Met some nice folks through it, and have attained some valuable knowledge from others.
But yes - I think I 'truck'. Usually 55-70 hours a week, if that still quallifies as 'work' these days.
Time???

It's the third time this dude has checked the door to my bathroom stall. It says "occupied..." He checked it twice before... Now I'm gonna teach that ############ some patience and hop on TTR...

I only drive 200miles a day. and stop at all the sights take pictures go to museums. isn't that's how some companies recruit? "get paid to travel"

I worked yesterday, and I'll work Thursday...if something local pops up between maybe I'll do that as well. It's starting to get cold, I got my $ stacked for the days I don't want to work. F it, I watch netflix, go out for lunch, cruise TTR, look at trucks for sale, call up chrome shops and order shiny stuff...you know- what trucking is all about lol
God I love my life.blairandgretchen, MJ1657 and barnmonkey Thank this. -
It's OK I make sure to find time to visit the forum I just pull out my smartphone while driving down the highway, walmart parking lots and even at customers lots too, I got the cruise control on and look up every few seconds to make sure I'm not in the ditch. My truck's onguard beeper will yell at me anyway so I know I need to turn the wheel if I'm drifting out of the lane. It also puts on the brakes automatically for me if I'm about to rear end someone, so why bother paying attention. It can get a little confusing sometimes though if I'm trying to browse the web, watch the movie on the DVD player strapped to the top of my dashboard, and juggle eating my subway footlong and handle my giant pilot mug full of mountain dew
RedForeman and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
