    They were testing the new stealth mode on that sneaky train...wide open crossing and the tracks curve away from the driver, so unless it was a speeding train, I'd say driver inattention...the train hit him so hard, he probably dropped his cell phone.

    Where this happened is transcont's driveway.That's the only entrance they have.There is a stop sign.Driver seen the train and tried to beat it.

    It don't take long. Obviously this train wasn't going very fast to be stopped so soon following the impact but the point is still valid

    That piticular area trains run between 25 and 30 mph sometimes slower.Down a half mile is singing hills blvd where a walmart got hit by a train,the idiot was stopped on the tracks waiting for the lite to change.

    People needs to look both ways for a train.Heck you can see the lite a mile away and people needs to quit trying to beat trains.

    I thought it said on the frontage road...I tried to look up the area on Google Maps to see but I didn't see any part of the road that looked like the picture posted. When I looked up the address, it pointed to an intersection, so I guess it's an outdated map.

    Ill have to read article again.There is no frontage road right there just the driveway.What he did was he got loaded and as he was leaving transcont he crosses the tracks while a train was coming trying to beat the train and right before he cleared the tracks onto 75 the trained nailed him.Ater all said and done that is going to be one hefty price tag.The train itself was down for 2 hrs and its not cheap for downtime.
