Anyone ever heard about this company before? Based out of New York, it advertises a regional gig out of my immediate area (Salina, KS). Looked up the company on the FMSCA site and they seem to have decent safety ratings. Looked at their website and it's supposedly a union gig, but that could mean anything. Kinda vague anyways about what they actually haul.

Be careful with advertisements, as many companies target certain areas with claims of “your area”. But, in reality, there are no operations in your area. It’s just a ploy.
Because I live just outside a capital city, I’m continuously bombarded with these adverts.cdavis188 Thanks this. -

Years ago it was a good job. Not so much anymore. They haul batteries for what used to be exide. Hope you like loading and unloading batteries and running New York city.
bzinger Thanks this. -
Nah I think I'll pass. The whole point of me wanting to go regional is to avoid the Northeast as much as possible. Just not many options in this town. The guys at Triangle Trucking are a nice bunch and I've known them for years. I was curious about what their pay package was and almost laughed in their faces when they told me. And Doug Bradley pays by the load. Which in today's economy..just no. I've started to look in neighboring states and saw Midwest Express out of Grand Island, but I need to do more research on them.
But hardly any other options in town besides for those two.bzinger Thanks this. -
What about Schwan's?
