That’s VERY TRUE!
And that Porsche has a Massachusetts license plate! In the case of that state truer words have never been spoken!!
Flat Earth Trucker and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
That driver (and his company) are VSF!!
That is going to be a SUBSTANTIAL FREIGHT CLAIM!!
Porsche engines can run anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000,depending on the model!
Notice that the UPS driver dipped out after the engine flipped over!
He didn’t want to be part of that!!

I have-used to work for United and UPS.
The jets engines are worth more than the planes themselves!
(They worth more than we are for that matter).Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
That's a little low on your high side. A 930 (911turbo) can go 30k used.
Also that looks like a used engine. New ones are crated and boxed.Magoo1968 and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
Close.... a typical estimate is you figure that half of the total value of the plane is "firewall forward"... pretty consistent for piston and turbine engines. A little 4 cylinder engine like a Lycoming O-235 for a Cessna 152 can be 25k. An O-360 (4 cylinder 360 c.i.) gets up into the mid 30K realm. Some turbine engines have single parts that can be 60k and up.
