And that Porsche has a Massachusetts license plate! In the case of that state truer words have never been spoken!!

 

That driver (and his company) are VSF!!
That is going to be a SUBSTANTIAL FREIGHT CLAIM!!
Porsche engines can run anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000,depending on the model!
Notice that the UPS driver dipped out after the engine flipped over!
He didn’t want to be part of that!!

 

You should see what airplane engines cost....

I have-used to work for United and UPS.
The jets engines are worth more than the planes themselves!
(They worth more than we are for that matter).

 

That's a little low on your high side. A 930 (911turbo) can go 30k used.
Also that looks like a used engine. New ones are crated and boxed.

 

Close.... a typical estimate is you figure that half of the total value of the plane is "firewall forward"... pretty consistent for piston and turbine engines. A little 4 cylinder engine like a Lycoming O-235 for a Cessna 152 can be 25k. An O-360 (4 cylinder 360 c.i.) gets up into the mid 30K realm. Some turbine engines have single parts that can be 60k and up.
