Received one from another driver passing me, and then a little while later realized why!
I realized that I've been Victory Saluting the motoring public for years, due to Kenworth's placement of the radios, which I'm ALWAYS messing with!
Too funny! Wonder how many people I've pissed off over the years!

LOL. I have not once thought of it that way, I think two sides to this, one funny, one not so... However, I will choose to laugh with you and understand that people without knowledge of trucking will just have to be upset.
A side question, how is that 680 holding up. Arent they getting on in years? -
That's an old W900B. It's been good to me, but with anything over 20+ years of age, especially a gravel truck, you learn to become a mechanic also, whether you like it or not!
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Is that a square hood corner then? The camera angle had me thinking 680, the sloped one.
I enjoyed wrenching on the old trucks back then, the new ones with computers not so much even though I took the effort to understand them intimately. -
Just an old W900B. The hood is as flat as anything, other than maybe a 379/389! Taller, though.
Cannot make an extended hood model work here very well, as I already have a hard time getting 20,000# on that front axle!
I don't mind a bit of wrenching, but sometimes it gets too much, when you just want to get home!
I park my truck & pony in a pay yard, and the security guards know to not even come near, when I bust out the socket set. They cannot handle the language and fury I display, when I deal with repairs.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I wish this industry had higher profit margins... I don't mind the work, and even the extra BS with full ownership I can handle, but man are the profit margins slim, when ALL is said and done.
