Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Going back to dad's place in the even smaller little village nearby.... Called Irajá....


The repair in that section of the road was complete.... What a "joke"... next rain will wash all that away... but considering next rain might happen in March or so... that should be ok for a while....



Arriving in the little village where my dad lives...

 

The big house on the corner is where dad lives....

It's much bigger than most houses in this area....
From my hammock I can see the bedroom where dad sleeps....



Hammocks in every room... living room, bedrooms....




No hammocks in the bedroom upstairs though... just mosquito nets... lots of mosquitoes here...

There is a religious celebration going on this whole week till this weekend in this little village... there is music (not religious) playing loud on a square near this house.... Music is so loud I can hear from here every evening till midnight..... Guy talking on the microphone... auctioning stuff..

This internet connection has been excrutiatingly slow... going to have supper now and will try again later... lots of more pictures to post....

Nearby the house here... loud music, a small "carnival" kind of thing... guy with microphone auctioning stuff, speakers and loud music, lots of food vendors and folks drinking, eating and enjoying good time... this whole week... till Saturday.... loud music till 1 am...

Whew finally landed in Dallas. Chicken load canceled so went with plan B. Plan B turned into a pita because I have a hard time thinking without speaking. Gave the broker a brilliant idea.
