Talked to swift recruiter, they said they would be able to work with my record I might be close to threshold but, just don’t want to go through school and then not offer me a job or at some point through orientation be told otherwise and be stuck with the bill. I got one speeding ticket in nov. of 2020
And one speeding ticket in dec. of 2020 both under 15

They will only hire you if you promise to run into my tractor at least twice before leaving the truck stop

If they put you in their school and you get your CDL that means your hired. They won’t spend a dime on you if they aren’t going to hire you.

That's not entirely true. They made it clear to me that you are not guaranteed a job with Swift if you go to their 'Academy'. After you complete their schooling and get a CDL, they do have the option to not hire you.
That said, in my time there, I'm not aware of not hiring anyone who completed their schooling. But, I wasn't actually hired by Swift until I finished the school and passed my tests for my CDL.

All that said, with just 2 speeding tickets and both under 15 over, I think you'll be fine and if the recruiter says they aren't a problem, I wouldn't worry. Despite their reputation with many drivers (who haven't worked for them), I think they are a good company to get started with. They aren't perfect, and no company is, but for a starter co pany they are probably one of the better options. My opinion of course. YMMV.

why spend the money on housing and school if not going to hire. That would be a dumb move no?

If you have a pulse, and can fog a mirror, Swift will hire you.

When you start their school, you sign papers that will obligate you to pay for the schooling and accommodations, around $7,000, before you start. Part of that agreement is that if you work for them for 1 year, you no longer have to pay. But, as I said, they were clear that attending their school was no a guarantee of employment. My thinking is that if they see something they are not comfortable with while you are in their school, they don't have to hire you. And, like I said, I haven't seen or known of anyone who attended and passed their schooling that wasn't hired. But, it makes sense for them not to be obligated to hire you.

While they are not too picky with who they hire. They do not hire anyone with a pulse and a CDL. They are not what is commonly referred to as a 2nd chance company. Depending on why a driver needs a 2nd chance is the key. Sometimes they'll take on a driver needing a 2nd chance, but it depends on why. They will and do pass on hiring drivers. And, if you have habitual safety issues, they will let you go. That, I have seen with several drivers. Rookie mistakes and having repeated safety problems you don't improve from are two different things.

As of 2016, I'm not eligible for rehire at Swift and this was after starting with them in 2013 after attending their driving academy at their Phoenix yard. I did both dry van and flatbed on several rehire employments with them in that time frame. The reason for NEFR is probably because I quit under load and just parked a flatbed load at the Jurupa Valley, CA yard and bailed. It shouldn't have been too much of a problem to get it delivered locally for them, as it was load a of lumber that delivered within 20 miles of the yard.

They didn't ruin my DAC with load abandonment or quitting under load, but kept it more of an internal thing, from what I can ascertain by reviewing my DAC. I havn't applied to them in some years and maybe with my employment gaps, probably won't in the future.

As for attending the Swift Driving Academy, once you sign the papers, your on the hook for the loan. In my class, there were more than several prospective drivers who were shown the door and have to repay the loan or get your credit report dinged. As long as you pay something frequently,,they seemed to be happy. I'm not how sure they pursue non payers, they probably just sell the loan to a debt collection agency and write it off on their taxes, but who knows for sure.
