Went into Walmart tonight to purchase a couple bottles of the Blue -20 washer fluid. This particular Walmart had none at all. They had Red, Orange, Green, and a purple kind. I know they all claim to do something different. What's your experience with the different colors? Do they actually work? I guess I wont find out how good this Purple De-Icer actually works for another month or so... These were 1.80 each the blue is normally 1.50...![]()

Think it depends on the color of you truck.
Need to get a color that, when it sprays all over the place and dries or freezes it dose not make it look bad.kylefitzy, SixShooterTransport, Aamcotrans and 4 others Thank this. -

Well, up here:
Blue tends to be maybe -20
Pink tends to be summer for bugs, no good in the winter.
Green tends to be -40
I get the -45 stuff.NoBigHurry, Lav-25 and JonJon78 Thank this. -

I mix the blue and the green bug removing stuff. The blue works about as well as water.
The one thing you must be careful not to mix washer fluid with blinker fluid...it makes your wipers work in rhythmic surges. -
I find jugs of yellow Gatorade frequently. Wondering what flavor that is?
tscottme, Aamcotrans, KillingTime and 1 other person Thank this.
