2/ Do you charge him for the trailer?
3/ Are you charging him for the plate?
4/ Are you doing the invoicing for him? -
he is supplying his own fuel
, i will be charging him for the trailer, and the plate,
and i am doing the invoicing,
he is paying for the insurance but it will be on my policy
he will be hauling my loads only
I've never hired anyone to pull my hopper so I'm unsure of what percentage he should be getting -
If he's gotta pay for everything then he should get the Lions share of the load. Without knowing real numbers though it's hard to say a number.

86% to the truck.
-
I would say around 85% as well.
-
Usually if the carrier is supplying the authority, base plates, insurance and trailer it's closer to 65-70%. If your just charging him a flat rate for the trailer that he pays then it would be closer to 75-85%
-
Always give 110%, they told me.
Your trailer - I'd say 65-70% of the gross.
Have you discussed it with him? -
85% with what you're covering If he has his own trailer. If he covers more he gets a bigger cut than that. You provide a trailer, less.

I am wondering why the guy would do all that and not get his own authority? I say 90 per cent and a weekly trl rent.
Cetane+ Thanks this.
