Scum Bag brokers

I only took the advances when I started out to charge up my fuel card. Since then I just leave some funds on the card when I withdraw a direct deposit. I was never back-charged, but I wouldn't doubt it.

I do the same thing. It was costing me around five bucks a week just for advances. Forget that!

 

I could give u a list alright lol been dealing with them almost 40 yrs of brokers from Cali to Ny. Some good and some not worth wasting a good 40 cal bullet on. Brokers today have no ethics and don't care. Today internet has ratings yesteryear's word of mouth is all we had... RW

 

The OOIDA is a good resource to check on complaints regarding brokers.

 

you do have a leg to stand on. you are leased to a carrier, they were the go between and they told you it was being paid. your carrier is obligated to pay you. regardless of what the broker does. that's the benfit of being leased to someone.

your carrier is in the middle of this. and a suggestion get a twic card, its a simple deal to get.

 

LTA did exact same crap to us but in Jacksonville fl...then took 90 days to pay,we had to post against their bond...the whole time they were complete jerks..can't wait to see how long they take to pay you. They are black balled as well as tql in my book.
