Insurance for my wife and I was 150.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is freaking crazy ,hell i bet they only pay a small %!
Then you more than likely have to pay so much before it pays and they 20%.
Sheesh i dont know much about insurance, but i would check on a indepedent insurance.
Course it may be more ?But thats still bull -
The 150. was at the old company and at Barr-Nunn it will be 72. so we are saving alot. Well, it's been over 6 weeks here now, only few things not happy with. Still running some nights, running old truck, not as good as the kenworth I am used to, but newer. Hopefully, will get it traded in, in a few months. On the bright side, I am making more money than the old company. I like having the pre plan trips, I have only waited acouple times for a reload, they kept me moving in the last 12 days out. I started in my home town Wi. to Detroit, to Iowa, to Mo, GA, Florida, NJ, PA, NC, OH, IL, back to Wi, what a trip. All in all, better company.

I was thinking of jumping onboard with Barr-Nun as well, if you're still there or not. Could you give me a little insight as to what I might expect? I have minimal experience; but they did contact me a week or so ago to complete my application. Anything good or bad is what I'm looking for, have heard that they were a decent company to work for with hometime and family respect. I need to make a decision on what company I want to work for soon.

Yeah you got it in a nutshell partner there all pretty much the same just a different bonnet i've always found if you get on well with the despatcher thats a great help not sure how you get on with a big company like BN i was with a smaller comany only 250 trucks so we got to see and talk to our dispatchers in person LW Miller if you want to be based in UT very good company mostly ran North of SLC to LA or Sacremento CA great in the winter no snow chains .
