I used a big railrod bar. Got on top and pryed them back out straight. Basically an 8' heavy steel pry bar.
Actually bent back out easier than I thought.
If they are aluminum, do not put heat to them.D.Tibbitt, blairandgretchen, bullhaulerswife and 1 other person Thank this. -
The bad part about hammering them back out is it is just a matter of time still some jerk off that can't drive a forklift bends them again.

I went to harbor freight and got a porta power after I got them straight I put extra spacers in then I told the forklift jocky if he touched the truck his boss and I would be havering a talk

On my Fontaine I just use my winch bar and tweak them. We have a couple Transcrafts and if I do that the weld that holds it to the stake pocket breaks.

Speaking of Rub Rails.....I got mine ripped off (about 10 feet of it) by a shipper this weekend. It was a four hour weld repair that costed about $700 dollars and they were aluminum. I'm a company driver so I didn't pay anything. It did cost 3 days of my time...
D.Tibbitt and blairandgretchen Thank this.
