I am trying to trace a short in Headlight. It stays on for about 10 to 15 minutes while running truck then starts flickering.

    What type of truck?
How worn is the light switch itself?
Have you checked ground and hot connection to that light.

I've had them before where the filameent breaks, but is still laying across to the other side, when it heats up, and bounces around, it breaks connection, causing the flickering.

You should be tracing down an intermittent open not a short. It's January, and much too cold for shorts :biggrin_2559:

It is a 2007 FL. It only happens on brights, not dims.

Check your dimmer switch; they like to go bye bye. And put on some pants.
