Okay guys you know the front pins you push in and lock in so it wont slide off the chassis? Well some driver decide not to push it in and the box shifted while gettin loaded. So my question is how to get it in and secure without unloadin the whole trailer. Never had this problem until now and wondering what you guys do

Are the pins out of alignment vertically or horizontally. If they are out of alignment vertically as in the pins need to be moved up to be able to slide them in then you can attempt back your fifth wheel under each edge of the chassis to jack up that side so you push that pin in. You would do that for both sides. If a jockey is there their wagon is perferrable for this since he/she can raise and lower the fifth wheel.

If the pins are out of alignment horizontally then you can attempt to get them in alignment by rubbing your container against another container (preferrably loaded container) to try and shift the container back into alignment with the pins. If you don't feel safe doing either method call your company up and tell them what happened with the container... You should call them up either way actually since one pin not pushed in is bad but forgivable if it can be fixed by jacking up the end of the chassis if it's horizontal I would report that driver for sure but two is pathetic and the driver who did that needs to get reported.

Yeah horizontally outside of rubbing it against another container which as we all know is considered an incident and frowned upon by most companies is the only way you can attempt to fix it without outside help.

Horizontally. Learned a trick that works most of the time, unhook from the chassis and back to the kingpin slightly off center so the kingpin hits the inside of the fifth wheel and causes the the chassis to slide left or right and can also align the pins to the box if its not to far off. Also make sure the landing gear is down tight because the chassis needs to flex against resistance not just twist the tires a lil. Can't really explain it but do you see what I'm saying?

Basically use the weight of the container combined with the force of the tractor via the fifth wheel pressing against kingpin at an angle to slide the chassis into alignment...correct?

Something doesn't sound right. There is kind of a notch in the bottom of the container the chassis fits into. The box shouldn't slide off the chassis even if the pins aren't pushed in. It doesn't sound like the box is on the chassis right. The pins only secure the box from jumping out of the notch.

Driving around the yard with a few turns might put the box back in it's place.

Shame you didn't post any pics,it would have made solving this much easier

View attachment 70601 That notch in the middle of the box is where the chassis rides. It really can't slide off the chassis.
