Hey guys what kind of fuel stops does Millis use?
Also when your assigned a load do they route you? Do you have to use that route and those fuel stops attached to that route or can you use an alternate route when needed? Since you guys are constantly pulling beer my guess is you don't top your tanks too often, so are you constantly stopping for 50 gallons here and 50 gallons there?
Thanks

I don't work there, thank God.
Millis trucks only hold 200 gallons to begin with if I remember right, which is tiny for an otr truck. the day cabs and regional trucks cold maybe half that.
my truck holds 210, and it is a royal p.i.t.a sometimes.
rumor has it they are going to an optimized, computer-controlled fuel stop and routing program, and with 1000 trucks I am sure that 99 percent of the time drivers are expected to follow it. -

they sent message a couple of weeks ago looking for volunters to start testing the routing but they havent said anymore about it.

And the cameras also "completely volunteers" -
It's coming...when I was there, they sent out a quallcom message that said it was coming, along with camera's in all trucks, and a couple of other things....which most started popping up before I left.
