Hello everyone and thank you in advance for any help or advice I receive from you guys .
I'm a student just finishing up cdl school . With all the recruiters coming threw I'm having a super tough time making up my mind on which company to start with .
I keep coming back to falcon transport . I've read few bad things about them but everything i find is a little old . I've heard they doing a lot to change there reputation and update there equipment . They also offer nice benefits and pay by the day instead of the mile for otr . I think that would help out a lot considering I'm new and I'm sure I will be making plenty of mistakes that would normally cost me money until I get the hang of things .
So I would love to hear from anyone that has any recent information on falcon or better yet someone who works for them but any and all info would help please .
Thank you .

Not a lot of response to this one bud. I can't say I've ever seen their trucks either.
If you've just finished up CDL school, you have a ton of options - I'd keep researching.
Just found them online - I see a bankruptcy tied to Youngstown,OH, and an old Rip off report from 2008.
Need to find one of their drivers and drill him for details.
Good luck.Chinatown Thanks this. -
When I lived in Nashville, my neighbor worked for Falcon Transport flatbed division and he was very satisfied with the company. I tried to recruit him to the company I worked for and he said, no he's happy at Falcon.

I live in Northern Ohio and see them a lot. They do have some older equipment. They bought some fleet trucks at auction it seems, old Heartland International 9400's. But I see a ton of them moving, so they should be able to keep you busy.

Well I thank everyone for there help . I'm still having trouble finding any information on this company but will continue to do as much research on them as possible . If anyone else comes across this that might know anything please chime in with any helpful information .
Thank you . -
I don't know specifically what their flatbed division hauls, but the dryvan division handles auto parts. I looked into them a while back and was considering doing dryvan on one of their dedicated auto parts hauls.

I say stay the hell away from falcon junk trucks bad csa score and they don't care 1 bit about there drivers. they also don't pay well there trainers only have to have 6 months as a driver. low pay you wont make 700-1000 like they say you will. you will never be home not getting paid to sit and wait for loads, no tarp pay, o did I mention there junk equipment go anywhere but falcon you will regret it
Drac1985 Thanks this. -
I did work for them I left its my csa score and with there crappy score you will be getting pulled behind the scales

I'm a new hire to Falcon. Wrote up some stuff here... http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...3874-falcon-transport-co-youngstown-oh-5.html
So far, it's had it's ups and downs. I'm still so green to the industry I don't know whats Falcon specific or industry wide as far as some of the stuff that goes on.
