Run a search and you'll find all the info you need. There are dozens of threads about MBI in the oilfield forum, including this one on the first page:

Waited around too long. Get in early if you want good money. Just like S TX. Rats show up from all over the country in a bad economy like ours and start cutting rates and throats. People on here been "feeling" situation out for yrs instead of getting off that arse and going to work. Still lots of jobs but the glory days are slipping away quickly.

No way in hell I'd move up there for only $19/hr.

I haul water for MBI subcontractor for $28. I hate MBI management with a passion and moving on soon. I'm going to % pay. Only way $19 hr is acceptable is if you have absolutely 0 experience. If that's the case take the job and treat it as a paid internship. Prepare to be micromanaged with every move you make

Copy that on mbi management, they are really lacking in leadership and common sense.

Might the pickings be better in states and cities that are just coming online, or those that haven't received the press of ND and TX? As someone about to enter CDL school I sure hope a case can still be made for entering the industry this fall. -
