964 cases 505 miles 13 hours 5 minutes

 

that was first, day, spend night in hotel (on elogs BTW)
drive back to backhaul, pick up backhaul, actually got there too early (bah) and had to take my 30 waiting. Got fuel, got back at 1:45.
not quite 20 hours on the clock. Figure another 2 hours for getting ready, checking out, cheating the first day 30, etc. Call it 21 hours.

I should have made $685 for the two days.

so far, that's why I put up with this BS. We'll see

If it makes you feel better I got back to the yard today thinking I was going to be the last guy back and 2 guys were just pulling in and 3 other guys were still on the road.

Then I go into the office to check out and a senior driver was cursing about what a stupid day it was. I said "Oh good it wasn't only me today."

Here I was thinking I was the only one who had a stupid day and low and behold our whole yard had a stupid day.

Heard on radio Conway is having a job fair on Saturday. It's not far off my path home. Think I'm going to drop by. Have a much better idea of what questions to ask.
