Hi everyone, I am going to Boston Market terminal, 34 market Street. I was there 5 years ago and remember how difficult it was to get to that place. The Shipper and the receiver won't give me directions because they are tired of being cussed out by truckers.
Does anyone know good directions for the Boston market terminal? I don't want to go through boston downtown.
Thanks for the feedback.

Where exactly are you going? When you say Boston Market I think of Foodmart Row at the south end of town by the train maintenance yard.
That address you give is a bunch of little restaurants off Merrimac and Washington near the wharf. Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
BTW Boston has a bunch of market places.
Every time I hauled meat or produce it was always to Foodmart Row or NewMarket Square. I can take you in there blindfolded if that's where you are going.mp4694330 Thanks this. -
The place I am going to is right next to the new England produce center. 307 Beacham St, Chelsea Ma.
Can trucks go on the revere beach Parkway? I could use that from I-93 exit 32?paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Where r u coming from--they have actually kind of made it a pita to get into Chelsea legally anymore--but there r couple relatively easy paths--& goin thru downtown early am is no biggie--lemme no....
mp4694330 Thanks this. -
I will be there around 2 am. I am going East on I-90. Or south on I-93.
-
Ok early AM how we do it--90 to the end--then north on 93 to Sullivan Square exit--follow 99 North---don't let rotary bother you just half way around continue straight........(Now just to be clear---the little grate bridge by the power plant IS wt restricted--But it's how all the tankers get in/out of terminal& is heavily truck traveled)
Look for the FREIGHTLINER dealer on ur rite(bout 1/2mile)there is a street that Angles off to the rite...Bow St....follow bow to t/l(prolly on blink that time)that's Meachem....make rite(kinda rite but very doable) then just follow it....im guessing your going to Sysco...but couple other businesses there..but Meachem will run you right to the Market gate...oh and do NOT be concerned w/the overhead pipes on Meachem between the tank farms.....they seem low in the dark...but they are plenty high....have funCondoCruiser, mp4694330, freightlinerman and 1 other person Thank this. -

The very first time I went to Boston I got lost. My truck has been places no other truck has been. All I know I was on narrow streets and surrounded by college students. Luckily I made it out without incident.
Boston is unique. It was built long ago with no city planners or future back in the wagon days. As a result they have a bunch of narrow streets that are not very accommodating. Though I liked going up there after getting through the rest of the NE. It has a flavor all it's own.70s_driver Thanks this.
