I gotta admit. Some specifics would have been nice.

I work for Daybreak...it is a great little company. Plenty of miles. Dispatch leaves you alone. And yes they have new or newer equipment. Petes and volvos. Insurance is affordable too. Mostly single drivers...3 teams...no complaints. And 90k last year w2.

On February 22, 2018, a broker from this company LIED to cover a load from Burlington N.J. to Forest Park Ga. He informed me, through an agent, that the load can be delivered anytime b4 11am and anytime after 1pm Friday the 23rd. That turned out to be not true. After NO return call from broker, I call receiver (JC Penny's. The receiver informed me that she told the broker specifically no receiving after 11am, period. So instead of letting me know about that fact, he lured me into taking the load by leaving important info OUT. The receiver then go on to tell me that I can deliver it on Saturday between 8-11am. So I show up Saturday at 8 to be told they DON'T UNLOAD ANYTIME AFTER 11AM FRIDAY'S UP UNTIL MONDAY LATE AFTERNOON. (YES) Without considering me, my family or my business ($$$), deception was the tool used for their GAIN. Pitiful

I've never worked for daybreak but I've been hauling loads for them out of the Newark terminal since 2005 and never had a problem with them , always good people to deal with and they're employees seem happy .
