Owner Ops-BEWARE OF ROD LARSON AND NORTH AND SOUTH EXPRESS!!!!!!!!

mistake - good company--don't listen to the ones that wont work-- this company has the loads and get wayne as adisptcher

 

Its not all 30-60 DTP. I run bulk paid in 7 days from receipt of the originals. Freight pays same averages as flatbed van etc etc. Then again I can throw a rock and hit a hopper bottom load in my areas. Although I still have a flatbed bill at 48 days right now just waiting on the paperwork from the bank to file on that jerks bond if it hasn't been used up. If it has I'm headed to lenexa to collect from the shipper either way I'm getting paid today for my work. Just part of owning a company. Although this is probably the only industry where a driver is required to extend net 30 terms right out of the gate but doesn't get net 30 terms right out of the gate.

 

Bad company, stay away from them. You make 2000 gross a week before fuel. Rod keeps 70% of the line haul AND some of the FSC and Stop pay. 50% of the time you are DHing BACK to GE in Grand Prairie. He charges 5.00 for Comdata with a 400.00 limit. He keeps the fuel discount and charges 15.00 for Transflo weekly.

 

so true...i have been totally screwed from north and south express....Rod Larson is nothing but a liar, crook, and never does what he says.....DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY ....unless you want to work for free....ROD LARSON keeps your money....he says one thing and does another....once you are hired ...they think they own you....he will cuss you out on the phone if you ask for your money...his office and staff are a joke....his dispatchers in IOWA will also cuss you out...DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING HE SAYS.....this company expects you to deadhead from Houston to Dallas for free only to grab another low paying load....they expect you to run multiple log books....if you don't then your out with no pay.....if you ever decide to leave this corrupt company then the #### will really hit the fan and count on never getting paid....ROD LARSONS WEBSITE is a BIG LIE....there is no drop and hook....they claim no touch freight...THERE IS....if you do have a load that needs to be driver assist unload ROD LARSON says he will pay you extra ...but he never pays...his website says no brokered loads....when is fact 99% are ......ROD LARSON and NORTH and SOUTH EXPRESS is a company that you need to STAY AWAY FROM !!!!!....ROD LARSON's business motto is to hire you with all the promises and never pay.....you have to wait 3 weeks for your pay....but after the three weeks....you have already encountered so many problems that when you do leave he keeps your money....that is how he runs his business....if you think that I am the only one upset with ROD LARSON AND NORTH and SOUTH EXPRESS....DO YOU RESEARCH.....

 

Bent Over, Make sure you file a wage complaint with the Texas Workforce Commission. I have done so and am awaiting the results. After that, I will review the other options that I have.

 

I had issues with Rod and his company too.... I left do to having issues getting paid... Also in my short time there, I had issues getting loads... There was a lot of sitting and deadheading.... I averaged 2,000 miles loaded a week.. This is beyond unacceptable when not requesting time off...

 

Beware: all good reviews are coming from the same IP address. Please read the truckesreport about this company and the threats from the owner.

 

Sort of like all the BAD postings are mostly 1 post members .

 

Maybe the bad posts are from people who have been screwed by this company and want to warn other potential victims. I'm only at 8 or 9 posts but I feel like I have helped other O/O's.. Besides I think that is the title of this section: BAD COMPANIES. Rig builder is right, the good reviews come from the owner using different names.

 

Sounds like the owner of this company, thinks, just because he claims to be married to a lawyer, that he can PUSH, and get his way.
Sorry bucko, on the internet, anything and any one is FAIR GAME. His company is no exception.
