Thanx 4 the heads up, sounds like he is on his way back to the pin sooner or later... Or maybe he will steal from the wrong driver.... Its amazing how many drivers can't sniff out a guy like this before they find out the hard way

So drivers don't get paid, but they get paychecks with no taxes taken out? Interesting.....

I also don't think I'd loan my boss money if the company was keeping my paycheques, nor could I afford to if I wasn't being paid.
I'm not trying to rip apart the OP's complaint here, but what the heck is a warranty of theft? If the company is in possession of stolen property in the amount of 1 or multiple trailers, I can only assume a parolee/probationer/felon would be arrested and promptly incarcerated for a felony. Also not sure how your authority would remain active if DOT found out you guys were running fake or stolen plates on a commercial property, since an unregistered vehicle isn't usually insured for highway use...
This doesn't make much sense without some more details. If I call the IRS will they tell me straight up, they're not investigating my former boss? How can you possibly know he isn't paying corporate taxes? -
Take it from a driver (sucker) who worked for this loser. He DOES start out paying you, that way he can make more money than just what he can make hauling the loads himself. He robs Peter to pay Paul. I pulled in to fuel more than once and had to sit because he had to borrow money for the fuel card funds. Same way with permits. If he could get a driver to run without them, that was money he didn't have to spend. He had me running loads to Colorado and unbeknownst to me, I didn't have the proper papers to be in that state. He didn't take taxes out, yet when I asked him about it he just blew it off. He has stranded drivers in other states. He changes equipment all the time because he doesn't pay his debts. How this guy keeps skirting the law is beyond us all

How is it "unbeknownest' to you that you ran into a state without the proper "papers"?..Srry but that is 100% your fault for driving a truck into a state without paper..It is always the drivers responsibility to make sure you possess all authority to move that CMV at all times..it is not your responibility to pay for and aquire said papers, but it is yours to make sure copys are with you ..10/4..

What "special papers" do you need for Colorado?
I can clearly see someone inexperienced making that mistake if he otherwise has Colorado on his registration. -
My guess is, CO was not an authorized state listed on his IFTA & registration paper,so he had to buy a trip permit at the POE

McKinney.... Isn't that a trailer leasing company?
