Not quite sure if I understand what happened, but it sure sounded like a scary experience!

WOW. can't imagine how hard that would be to take, Glad you didn't hit the drunk, you being a Truck driver, I am sure they would of found some way of making it your fault!

DragonTamerBrat, corneileous, NOT4BUT6WHEELS and 1 other person Thank this. -
Good driving dude -
If you were moving at 70 mph in California and were in an accident it would be considered your fault. Not much defense when you are going 15 mph over the posted speed limit. That lawsuit would be a dead bang winner. Take it easy, brother....
midnight_trucker_1971 and walstib Thank this. -
It doesn't matter if he was doing 40 mph over the limit, if there was a vehicle going the WRONG DIRECTION on an interstate highway, how could it be his fault? If the S-10 hadn't been there, there would be no chance for accident.ghostchild Thanks this. -
You forget that DOT and trial lawyers do NOT think in terms of common sense.Double L, PappyGT13 and corneileous Thank this. -

happens more then u think....
-followed a truck in tx on interstae one night to pass some other trucks....luckily stayed back far enuff saw the same interesting visual effect you did....he and I both jerked over and shur as ####.....someone going backwards wrong side interstate.
I hit flashers/ he jumped on radio....thought for sure all I'd see in my mirror was his tailights merging and going up in the air with headlights from one of the big trucks behind us. He made it for as far as I could see him.....crazy #######.
We got this real cool guy in orientation (they picked the perfect guy- can learn allot from this man)....anyway, he said they had someone commit sucide that way, with a big truck.PappyGT13 Thanks this.
