On 88 you only have 1 Oasis and it's in DeKalb that services both E and W bound... On 294 as of last Sunday the Des Plaines Oasis is no longer an available option, its being torn down to make another lane on the toll toad...

If you're coming from the north, the t/a in Wisconsin is a good place. From the south, you got Gary, IN Coming west? Well I'm 100 miles away, parked because I hate dealing with Chicago traffic. I think morris is the closest spot from the west

Well yea, but this isn't a practice in best practices. Its more of a, tell me/others secret little nooks you can safely stop if forced to. I have only two such places on this list. Both in Bedford Park.

Wal-Mart off of Cicero allowed truck parking. Burger king off of I55 and Pulaski. There's an industrial area right around there.

There are some private lots around, I got stuck at the jewel disco DC in northern Chicago and found a ten buck place. If I'm not in the city I'm avoiding or planning outside.
