I believe ew2108 came from working local at Sysco to being an IC here. Probably depends who you talk with? When I spoke with recruiting in Nov they didn't mind my regional/local experience for the past 10 years since being full OTR.

My first try they denied me cuz I was on the dedicated for so long. Since then, 2 of our guys went on over to IC...no "OTR" required. About a year ago, I was close to coming over. Glenn and I were working together...but I got cold feet and cut it off.

Hey Ike...i've been kicking the idea of going IC with Schneider around too. I've only been with them for 4.5 months but have a total of a little over 6 years experience. I work as a part time flex driver with them right now on a dedicated account. I'm thinking of putting a truck on with them and getting a driver for it and keeping my flex gig. I don't know if they'd be willing to let that happen...but I'm like you. I wanna do it, but then my mind runs away with me and I get cold feet and back out.

If you pull the trigger on it...I hope it works out for you my friend.

Push them... you've got 12 years trucking experience and many of those with SNI. I remember watching your videos from a while back and you had talked a little bit about it, you gonna bring your own truck or try a lease from SFI?

    EggoTrucker Thanks this.

Not much. Found out for sure we are losing Masonite, so I have to change for sure. My ASM said Coke ICs are making money but not nearly enough to make it. Talked to Glen last Friday and he sent the checklist to my boss. There is not a real big rush. Our account goes away May 1st. So just taking my time and going over my options...
