Wouldn't that be cool...what is the difference??

Yeah, $29.00 isn't a bad deal at all. Samsung is a good brand too.

Bombed by Tornadoes throughout the Southland...

    Amazing...
The destructive power of the wind...all throughout the South, this has been going on...

You wouldn't know that though, if you listen to AM talk radio, where they continue to feed their listeners the usual dumbed down...'Republicans gooood, Democrats baaaad' tabloid mind numbing rhetoric.

As both Rep and Dems and everyone else, have had their homes and properties ripped to shreds...

Hardly no mention of it on talk radio...
300 + people lost their lives over the last month do to storms...and still...all you hear from Rush and Sean...

    Republicans gooood....Democrats baaaad....

So, since they won't bring what's been occuring throughout the South, I will...and that is a series of very destructive storms that have produced the worst series of Tornadoes, maybe ever...

It just makes the little cruise missles or tomahawk missles we send into other countries, seem very 'miniscule', in comparison to the damage a tornado causes...

We spend mult-millions of dollars to build one tiny missle, that can barely blow up a shed...

Yet, naturally occuring tornadoes, and windstorms create more damage to property, and do more to disrupt towns and cities, than 500 cruise missle could...

    And for free...
Makes you wonder if someone is using tornadoes, or the weather, as a weapon...

Has God almighty set loose the 'Crackons'??

Like in the movie 'Clash of the Titans'??

Are vengful demonic demons creating these weather systems full of destruction?

Are these storms retrobution for things that occured in the past there??

If these storms were happening in Africa or Asia, moralist over here would be drawing all sorts of 'judgement' conclusions like...

'Oh the Asians need to repent and turn to god'...ect ect...

But these tornadoes aren't occuring in Asia or Africa, their occuring right in the backyards of many who in the past would make such a comment as above...

And now that it's occuring in our own backyard, I wonder is there any self examination going on?

Not the usual 'We will rebuild' (mans arrogance) but 'have we done something to draw the wrath of 'whatever'??

Self examination...we always want others to do it, but hard for us to do it, cause it's an 'admission' of whatever...and it's hard for people to do that...but easy to apply to others...

Is there a message being sent here with this rash of killer tornadoes??

    Continued on next post...

    I remember..

When the Earthquake hit in Hatia a few years ago...I remember everyone over hear, at least the moralist suggesting very judgmental ideas...

That had to do with the worth of Hatians, and or their culture or religion..

Many suggested 'evil' brought on such damage...

And that the Hatians 'deserved it'....

And I remember thinking to myself, 'Well if it's evil, everyone deserves it, and soon everyone will get a taste of it'...

And now that the destructive power of nature has hit home, here in America...
What are those same people that assumed god was punishing Hatiia, saying now??

When will people realize god, nature, is not a respecter of persons??

Either we're all sinners, or none of us are...

We can't be 'selective' about who deserves what, based on our own self serving notions of rightiousness...

And use the destructive power of nature as a barometer of gods disapproval, only when it happens to other distant lands...

But yet when it happens in our own land, not draw the same comparison...

When it occurs in other nations, it's 'judgment from god'...but when it occurs in the nation of those who make such comments...then what?

Is it still judgement from 'god'??

    Or just 'nature'??

Something to ponder...while Rush and Sean continue to feed their listeners a steady supply of tabloid dumbed down...Republicans goood, Democrats baaad...(duh)...

Shows how out of touch they are with reality, and how little interest they, talk show host have with covering the actual news...

Their instead stuck in a template of rhetorical ratings driven gurgle, that their listeners and flock seemed determined to swallow on a daily basis...

In the meantime, millions are being affected by ravaging storms in the south, and not one mention of it by Rush...who after the show just wants to fly off in his business jet to play golf...

Osama Bin Laden is no more...liquidated by U.S. Seals...

How do I feel about it??

    Not sure...

Cause one day I'll be dead to...

We all die...good or bad...we all die...

So death in and of itself is what...punishment?

Well if we all die, than that tells me we're all being punished...

I think I'd rather see him in jail, than dead...

A bit under the weather...wore out...so I will lay down a few thoughts here, in my 'cyber bedroom'...

The bedrooms always a good place to retreat when ya want to be left alone...
or at least a place to gather your thoughts...

I'm listening to the radio...A.M. radio...and all the responses are as predicted...

Rush, Sean, and all the rest, get upset any time our President appears to gain a political victory, and thus go out of their way to always make the story, about his 'incompentance' rather than his achievement...

All in the name of 'politics'...people being told to 'hate' someone, whom they've never met...wow...

It's funny how Jesus taught just the opposite...but obviously not everyone who calls into talk radio is a follower of Christ...not quite sure what spirit their led by...
One I try to avoid...that's why I steer clear of the political thread here...

Why visit or interact with people who don't want salutions, instead just gurgle up hardwired responses...with no rational thought...just 'rage'...

Like the movie 28 days later..

This is the type of spirit you encounter in the political threads...pure rage...irrational hate and rage...and all the subsequent behaviors...yuk....

    Who needs it...

Anyways...like I mentioned earlier, a bit under the weather, energy is sapped...

Osamas death means very little to me right now...

Now if those Navy Seals could come here, where I live, and rid the streets of gangs, and drug dealers, and all other violent criminals, then I'd definatly applaud...cause that's what effects me...

Not some old man being killed 8000 miles away...

    Anyways...think I'll lay down for a bit...lator...

Oddly enough...they performed the sea burial of Osama Bin Laden, on a military vessel I use to be apart of...wow...

I wonder how many other people on this site, have served their country??

I can't stand people who are 'clueless' and led around by their bias...

Cause in my eyes, they look really 'puney'...small...

Scheduale wise...I sort of have things the way I want them...

In other words...those who read this thread or follow...all my time was tooken up by one job...

That particular job didn't make me 'rich'...it simply took up all my time...

And so I got burned out...and would sometimes say 'I'd rather work 2 or 3 part-time jobs or temp jobs, than one full-time trucking job that never allows me control over my time'...

Well I sorta got that now...

Unless your doing something you really love, it all comes down to 'labour'...

And if I must labour, I'd rather mix it up, as to not get bored, than do the same job or jobs over and over again...

With my current situation, I'm able to enjoy the day more, have much more control over my time...

Enjoy the weather, the yard and whatever else comes up...

    It's nice...

Will I get rich working such a scheduale...no...
But I don't feel nearly as stressed out as I did when I was a prisoner to this..

Once your let out of a cage, it's hard for someone to put you back in it...that someone often times being yourself...

It's nice to know I can turn down assignments...

Every job I have now...I can turn down assignments at will...nothings forces...and boy does that take stress off of you...

    You feel 'empowered'...
I can't work such a scheduale forever...but for now, at this juncture in my life...it fits...

And I'm beggining to make friends...and my work place has become much more gender equal...

In other words now I'm able to interact with young females, where as before...it was just older, hard working, well intentioned grey males...

And I forgot to add 'hairy'...

There's nothing wrong with that, but if that's all you work around 24/7 weeks or months at a time...well...

My work enviornment is much more diversified now...age wise and gender wise...
The eye candy is more pleasent...

I try to give people on here, new drivers and old a like, alternatives to the usual driving career path...you know..

Swift, Werner, Knight, JB Hunt, Scheider, ect ect...

There's so many other driving paths you can go down other than that...

I just know I wish I had someone telling me this stuff early on in my driving career...I really do...no telling where I'd be now...

There's more to driving than traditional OTR...

But if that's what you like, than it's what you like...I loved it for the first 5-6 years...absolutly so...but then it begin to cramp my lifestyle...I begin to miss out on a lot...

Possibly a wife, a kid, and a normal lifestyle because of...

Now, I don't know what I am...not that there aren't plenty of drivers who have wives, kids, and a normal home...cause many, most do...

Those who ancher down, before they start...
But when you go into trucking OTR single, it's hard to find romance in that enviornment...unless you do the internete dating site thing...

Many drivers today, are withdrawn, scared, nervious, and don't like to talk while parked at truck stops...they park and then jump straight into the bunk, of b-line it straight for Subway sandwich...and back to truck...

No one out there cares about you, your dreams, your potentials...your just a 'grungy uneducated driver' to them...

And then on top of that add racial or sexual or regional bias...and it can be a depressing lonely enviornment...one I can no longer surrender my life to...

But I did, for many years, but my mind was elsewhere...and I saw it all as a learning experience...but once I learned what I had to, and the industry begin to change...there was nothing else out there for me except lonely nights...

    Anyhow...just my take...

    Bumpy and U4EA Thank this.
