Better get that answer from Swift, not TTR.

Commercial records will be checked thoroughly. I believe POV records will be looked at for the past five years. Swift will get (or have you get) your record for that period of time. It is there. Stuff never completely falls off your record.

You do not need to surrender your CDL. A refresher will be accepted, but not from "just any" school. You don't have to get it from Swift. Just make sure your refresher is done at a place Swift will accept. Your recruiter should have this information.

The charges: a lot depends on the individual circumstances in your case and how you present it to Swift. Taking reponsibility and saying "I did ....." rather than "..... happened to me" goes a long way. I can't say what the reaction will be even if I knew the details. I'm not an office person. Therefore, perhaps details should remain between you and Swift.

I started as a company driver for Swift and stayed for just a year after going solo.

I went independent, hauling under the authority of a tiny company in Michigan. It lasted long enough for the American Axle strike to put the little company out of business and for me to be ready to murder my codriver.

I went to Prime and leased from them for nearly two years. I didn't care for being on the East Coast so much and never really felt at home there.

So I came back to Swift at the beginning of July 2010, as a Lease Op.

Curious to know if the "bunk override" switch cured the problem...

As am I. I know that my opti-idle in my 1st truck worked great until the electrical system went totally to ####e. On the 2nd truck it worked as well, but the AC in the truck wasn't as good so I had a higher idle time. I only received 1 message about my idle time in a little over a year, I was stuck in Laredo for about 72 hours. when the message came across I was laying there still waiting on a load that had been reschedule 3x. I sent a return message free form telling them that I wasn't idling when I was rolling.

Hi, on my 06 freightshaker, the fuse panel was under the right side dash panel on top of dash, the other fuse panel is right behind the driver seat, on that upright coulom, might check the fuse, otherwise has go back too dealer too check for fault codes.

Did you ever get your heater fixed such that you don't have to leave the key ON the whole time?
Mine is the same way, however I discovered I have to turn the key ON for about 10-15 minutes while the heater 'warms up'. Then I can roll the key over to ACC for the duration it will keep blowing out heat. It will still blow heat after the key is removed for quite some time but eventually peters out. Then it's all about shut the system down and restart the procedure. Couple of times couldn't get the heat to come back on and froze my buttocks together. So now I leave the key in there and use the spare key when I leave the truck.
