Drug testing

THIS IS THE ONLY ANSWER to the question regarding what drug test they do.

their are a few companies that do Hair follicle testing but it is not recognized by dot and can not be shared with other companies

still sticking to my original post, if your worried this is not the industry for you

 

I did a physical with them the other day. It was a piss test. You shouldn't have to worry if it's been 30+ days since you did anything. Just remember to stay clean from now on!

And to the other guy who was raising hell about drugs ruining people's lives. So does tobacco and alcohol, yet they're perfectly legal, and I bet plenty of people on this website do that on their off-duty time. So long as you show up to work, with a clean slate, able to perform your on-duty functions in a safe manner, who cares what people do on their own time? If you want to have weed illegal, make alcohol illegal too! At least alcohol is responsible for a massive amount of deaths each year, weed is responsible for none.

 

Personally I'm happy there is a stigma associated with drug use in this country. I never liked how the dope made me feel. When it came time to buy some more even your 'best' friends and family you were buying it from were ripping you off.

Once I quit for good, my 'friends' looked at me funny. You know what, keep toking up dudes, more work for me and my clean friends driving trucks!

 

Why do so many of you have such a black and white view on this issue? Some people actually are changing their lives and have no desire to smoke it anymore. Why should they be punished by a hair test?


Quick question to the hardline anti-marijuana people, are you also strongly in favor of alcohol being outlawed and/or truckers not being allowed to drink on their offtime?

Again, NO ONE should do any mind altering substance on the road EVER, but really what makes it so much different than drinking a six pack when you're home for a couple of days other than the legality (which could very well change in the future)?

 

no what it comes down to is you or anyone else can do what ever you want to do, just don't bring it into this industry, or any other industry that has safety sensitive functions with the general public involved

Exactly! Some people have low reading comprehension skills. Where has ANYONE said they want to continue smoking after becoming a trucker? Has anyone said they want to smoke while driving?

I read it and comprehended it just fine. I'm having a little fun, but seriously just asking the question raises red flags. Anyone who is 110% clean has negative 110% anxiety about any and all drug testing any company conducts. Your question suggests you have at least a shadow of doubt about your ability to pass Swift's drug tests.

To the 'legalize it and tax it crowd', go somewhere else-- please! Like go colonize another planet or something and cloud up the atmosphere with your dope smoke and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds kaleidescope hallucigenic visions I'm not in the mood to fill out accident reports all day when you crash into me thinking the zipper on the road was floating at eye level and was 'out to get you'.

 

I don't do any drugs (well, caffeine), but if you can tell me how to get a hold of some of THAT...I'll reconsider. LOLOL
