Duh! quote of the day. Get to my delivery today, back up to the door, stop short to go back and open the doors. Dock worker is standing at the open dock door. Take off my lock, pop off the seal and open the doors ... dock worker looks at the truck and says "uhh ... I'll be right back, I gotta go get a forklift". Not sure what he was expecting to see in the back of the truck.

Sumner at the truck stop ... pick up tomorrow and head back to MN ...

 

Ozona, TX. Send in loaded call this morning, Eta to first drop Sunday morning at 0700. About 2 hours later receive 3 messages. #1 Load assignment rescheduled for delivery 8/4 1159 - 8/5 0200, #2, Stop 1 appt 8/4 @ 0700, #3 final rescheduled 8/4 @ 0930. Final is Fontana. 1st stop is Tracy. Send in a msg to DM to get clarification from CSR and why the change when it was a open window to start with, and so far, no reply. Well guess that I will be taking my time. Have from now until 0700 Monday to get 1500 miles.

Then another message, according to our records, I qualify to become a Mentor. Well duh, I was already once, so fire one back, I will Mentor again, but only students that just need 50 hours. So far, no reply.

 

denver terminal. woke up in amirillo tx to wet weather. off and on all the way here. got a preplan to p/u in pueblo co 07/31 1630.and del in billings mt 08/01 1715. get to shipper early and hope its ready early. give me a cushion.

 

First rejected preplan was from the Walmart DC in Grandview, WA to Ontario, CA....no weight. PLUS they wanted MT and loaded weights so you know it's gonna be HEAVY.

Next was from Hermiston, OR to Los Angeles for delivery on 08/05 but no delivery appointment. PLUS it's going to a grocery DC, I don't think so!

 

Steve, thought that you hated to be up in the Oregon area.

 

That was pretty minor but none the less he touched u and he ran off,assuming he hit the side of your trailer? Any damage and did u call his company?

denver term really is packed today. had to double park behind the first row. got a message from denver dispatch saying i was blocking a guy who was leaving at 0400 tomorrow. he suggested i move unless i wanted to get up early lol. so i found a spot behind the fuel tanks. told heath where i parked and wasnt blocking anyone. theres a truck who is parked down the side of fence and really tight squeezze to get by it. told heath and gave him the truck number. wont be suprise ,if the guy dont move, someone hits him tonite.
