Interesting to note this is provided by a 3rd party.
Also interesting to note the 2nd year team pay is almost half what ours is on 300+ mile runs.
Across the board, not too bad for a starter company, thanks for posting.

(I know, a bit far for a punctuation joke but I got there) -
Never understood the sliding pay scale. Drive more for less, Why can't they just have a regular pay across all CPMs !
Teams get fricking pooped on. 5 years 300+ miles 41cpm wtfblairandgretchen Thanks this. -
The sliding scale is to make it a little more enticing to take the shorter loads to move to an area where you might get longer runs. Simply put, take a short run, earn something rather than sitting and earning nothing.

Under 100 should be % pay though, 50 cents on 50 miles is a joke and waste of time.

Sometimes it works to our advantage.
I like the sliding pay schedule, usually.
It is a fair way to compensate the driver for the shorter runs.
And it is actually - drive less for more, if you are on a shorter run.
Or would you rather simply be paid the same for any length load?
I'd bet that it would not be more than for those longer runs, if it came to that.
Get a 2,000 mile run over 4 days with enough time for another 1k+ miles for the week, and it pays a bit less per mile than several 100-250 mile loads during the same time.
Which would you rather do, and which will make a better week?
I've made decent money running the shorter loads, if they are the right loads. But nothing beats a good long run.
No time spent on loading and unloading, live this and that, crumby shippers/receivers, down time between loads.
And Swift compensates the drivers by paying more for those crappy short runs.
What is your beef with that?
And Shaggy, no one is preventing you from finding employment elsewhere if you don't like the pay at Swift.
