I'm sure this has already been asked and answered, but I can't find it. Is BMI an issue at Swift? Do they measure your neck?

the clinic will measure, but its not an issue.

From what I've seen waddling around the yards they don't seem to care too much about how obese you are, but....

I just did my DOT physical and they determine BMI by height and weight. I have been getting shorter as I've gotten older and even though I am the same weight I have been for the last 20 years I'm 3 inches shorter than I was three years ago and my BMI is now over 35. I have six months to lose a few pounds.
The doctor asked about my sleep. I told him I sleep like a baby; I wake up with wet diapers squalling for some tty.HousTank Thanks this. -
As far as I can tell, BMI is not part of the DOT physical. I've read the examiners handbook. No mention of BMI or neck size. It wasn't listed on the long form either.
companies may have other guidelines. -
That said, if you do think you have sleep apnea I recommend you get the machine and use it. I have friends whose lives were changed for the better when they started taking care of themselves. Don't believe me? Ask Wolfy.Scott101 Thanks this. -
Eventually we will all be on some sleep monitoring machine which will have to have x amount of hours logged actually asleep before we can legally drive or you can only drive x% of time agains x amount of hours of proven sleep or something.

I don't think Swift worries about BMI as much as Prime does. You could also try May Trucking Co.
