180 Degree Backing

I had to almost do that at a customer. Dock was at the end of the building and the roadway wrapped around the building. Options were to turn around and blind side it or to go down the roadway and almost jackknife it in from 140-150 degrees. The later was quite easy.

 

Need some room but I pulled off a couple 360's just messing around. Start in the space nose in and end up backed in non stop. You have to lock the trailer tires down and get back under it just right.

 

Ive had to do that a few times to get to a dock. You'd be amazed at how nicely it works. Pull down in towards the dock and do a complete about face to bump the dock.

 

Ive done that with 4 trucks lined up on me.we doved into the gravel area big enough for 6 parked trucks, turned through it. Me and 4 others lined up on each other backed in at once leaving poor JBH to bleat on the radio, what about me?
