Well it was good while it lasted.

 

Maybe the time spent to make a few phone calls might have been worth it? And maybe a check ride would have been prudent? [to find out the dude was blowing smoke up your butt when he applied with no experience]

Or was the truck like some horses? ... they have their preferred rider, and anyone else is just a nuisance to be dealt with.

Temp workers, not experience with night driving. I'm just guessing....

But with the holidays coming, I see lot of temp jobs opening and jobs you never see posting like Old Dominion and RL
