Could this be true?

If it is true then it's clear cut fraud to lie about the actual invoiced amount.
Two companies I've been with that paid percentage, before I signed on I asked to see some settlements off other trucks, they always showed me, they just hide the unit number. If they won't show me, then I don't work there.

 

The stuff with Tiga is true. I leased three trucks from them. 2 at one time. Terrible owner but made really good money hauling crude oil until prices dropped. Lost lots and lots of money due to the company just giving us a flat rate per barrel on every contract we had. They were stealing big bucks right of the top. If you've never worked In the patch then I'll help you, each and every contract with different companies had different rates. Tiga never ever would show us anything they collected which was against our contract. This is just part of the lawsuit and it's pretty cut and dry. We will win. How much is the question!
