The fuelling program keeps trying to get me to fuel at places that are out of the optimum route.
The first one had me going up I-55 to I-70 on my way to Indianapolis, when the best way would be up I-57.
It had me fuelling at a Loves in East St. Luis.
When I got here in AR I called for a new fuel route.
Now it has me fuelling at a Love's that takes me on back roads when there are 4 other Love's along the best route, and then yet another at the TA in Effingham along that route. I only need one more fuel stop on this trip.
But I don't think I can make it to that TA with the fuel I have.

And I don't have the hours on my 70 to waste the time.

    Oh well.
I guess I'll just go the way I want and call again for fuel when I get too low.
I'm not about to go with what I'm given by that stupid program, unless it suits me.

    Moriarty, NM at the Pilot.

Decided to wait for an hour after sunrise before I depart. Freezing fog here and freezing precipitation in TX.

Just had a trailer shop mechanic tell me a malfunctioning ABS system will not get me put out of service, it's only a ticket and it isn't very much. When I mentioned that it also goes on my CSA score he tried to tell me it doesn't, now we wait to see if the load gets t-called off since I won't drive it into Kansas with a failed ABS unit.

    A21CAV and scottied67 Thank this.

$25 dollar fine. Problem is they see the light and pull you in, likely to find something else.

Well, I guess I don't have to worry about fuel after all.
I woke up too sick to drive and my load was repowered.

It's about time I got sick. The last time was over 3 years ago.
I felt it coming yesterday and tried to get some extra sleep last night, but to no avail.
I'll be taking it easy for a couple days.

Call the number on the back of the trailer and report your experience . That number goes directly to the office of the safety boss in Phoenix .

If you get stopped and inspected you will get CSA points which will effect your RA rating and will get Swift dinged with CSA points . For CSA purposes a warning carries the same weight as a violation . The grease monkeys in Swift shops are to be trusted only for screwing you up and doing worse to your truck .
