This guy needed a happy meal too. That's the right hand lane of a 4 lane road he's stopped in. I took this picture last winter. At first I thought he broke down, until I spotted him waddling across the parking lot with a giant Mickey D's bag.

Hell, if you go in fast enough in the first place, you'll hardly feel the resistance.:p

So this driver decided to redesign the building. He must have been an Ark-E-Tect in a former life.:D

    AModelCat Thanks this.

McD's is across the street. There is a front view of the crash with the BK sign right next to the truck.

And here I thought CRST meant Crash/Roll Stunt Team...the article's comment 'Couldn't Resist Some Take-out' fits better in this case.

I can just imagine what the call to his safety department sounded like..."I hit a building", "what kind of building","a burger king awning", "oh, that's bad, but not to expensive, 2 safety points", "send a couple wreckers and some shovels to pick up the freight","<dead silence>","hello, boss....tap-tap-tap this thing on?", "how bad did it hurt the building","just a scratch", "why a wrecker","because this $1000 awning just totaled the $25,000 trailer, and probably the load","<more silence> then, perhaps you should go inside and put in an application, and practice the phrase 'would you like that combo small, medium or large' cause you aren't a truck driver any more"

    I've stopped there.

Okay, not "there", but I've had to get creative in finding an appropriate place to park in order to get there. That town sure sucks for transient truck traffic.
