Alright guys and gals, I have a 2004 International 9200i with the 385 horse ism engine. The front heater shutoff valve right behind the dipstick has been leaking, I am trying to find one but I am having zero luck. If anyone could help direct me to right place I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

did you take it off and show it to some different parts shops? I would think a truck dealer should be able to match something up. When you find one though make sure to get the 1/4 turn and not the rotary valve.

Why are the 1/4 turns better?

I have been running so I haven't been able to show anyone yet. I was hoping to just find one first so i can just swap it while sitting in line.

They are less prone to leaking than the rotary kind.

:) good - that's the one I've got. Shut it off today. Will this improve the AC performance in the cab?

Plumbing stores, commercial hose dealers, Lowe's, home depot etc. There is nothing truck specific about the valve, just cap both ends of the line and take the valve with with you to check diameter.

It should help the AC perform better. I always turn off both valves when summer rolls around.

On the n14 should be two down low,one may be behind the frame rail. Then two up high by the rear head.
