    I sold my last truck volvo 770/2001 Detroit D60 ,with 1,200,000 miles mostly original motor,(replaced cam ) no inframe;
    last year I ignored an oil leak from in my volvo D13 oil seoarator, and infested ECM and harness; I had to rewire the whole motor plus new ECM, about 6-7000$ paid at Volvo in Windsor. Oil is cheap but can get worst.

    A gallon a week is worthy of a fix in my opinion..it's only going to get worse...

    Labor came back 25% of what an in frame costs. It will get fixed when the in frame gets done. At $10 a week its not breaking me. Getting an OOS violation is the only thing that worries me

    I had my oil filler cap come off and blew oil all down the side of truck and u nderneath. I was not put OOS for it, but I was given a violation that went against the CSA. Driver and Company. GOod Luck

    You don't have to be put OOS for it to be an OOS violation. On the inspection sheet where the violation is listed there will be a "Y" or "N" under OOS at the top. In that case I'm sure it was as that must have been quite a lot of oil spilling
