Im looking to make a move back to van soon. Been pulling flats for 2.5 years and have injured myself at home and wont be able to throw chains and tarp for at least 6 monts. Just bought a new home so cant afford downtime. Looking at these 2 companies for 2 reasons.terminals close to home and good insurance with fast startup time. Pay is less than desired for todays freight but hope to make up for in mileage/equipment/little wait times. Any input would be appreciated. Oh and can verify 4 years maybe 5

I run for Interstate Distributor but out in the West. I get good miles and the pay is pretty decent. I heard from some new drivers they have a sign on bonus right now.

I'd go with big g because their entire fleet is APU equipped and supposedly the pay & benefits are above average. I have yet to meet an unhappy driver there.

I worked at Big G for almost three years, and I would recommend them to anyone. I only left because I got burnt out doing OTR. My wife still works there as a driver.

Pay is decent, equipment is great and well maintained, they will keep you rolling if you want to roll, home every weekend, APUs in every truck, mostly east of the Mississippi lanes.

Let me know if there's any specific questions. I left about two months ago and will go back if I ever get the OTR itch again.

So far I think Big G soundslike the winner. Insurance starts first day, esop, low wait times for loads if any, little to no brokered freight, and I get to drive a new KW.
