I'm out of the loop on that issue now so don't want to speculate and give unhelpful advice or opinion.

Save $10,000 for down payment and $10000 for expenses and $10000 for maintenance.
Then put your truck on with a company pulling their trailers such as schnider or landstar. Get discounts on fuel and maintenance.

I was thinking of saving up for the next 24-months and pay cash for a used truck that is well maintained and in good condition. can you elaborate on the $10,000 expense?

Nope. Old Schneider fleet truck. You can do better at 28k.

Actually yes that one looks pretty good its really clean. I'm surprised you should see some other trucks that 1st time buyers ask us about. Some of them look like they've been pulled out a junkyard in Rwanda they're so trashed, and others look like show trucks and the buyer tells us they have $5, 000 saved which makes them buying that truck about as realistic as me finding Jennifer Aniston waiting for me in the bunk when I get back from the shower.

Now this is an 06 and to my knowledge is not best year of emissions to get if you're already going to go that old why not just go after an 03 and older and not have emissions at all. If you could find this exact truck but an 03 that would be great.
