Hopefully your unload goes quicker than mine. I was there 4 hours for a full trailer load, straight pull off of 1 item. And I am still waiting for instructions from Fargo as to what to do with my 4 damaged cases, and I am sure they are probably waiting to hear from the shipper.

Got loses at Miller-Coors in Golden CO, unfortunately yesterday like SSB my receivers took an extra 3 hrs to unload me and with it being my first time to Miller I ended up behind the 8 ball on my trip out west.

Need to be in Kent WA by 1 pm tomorrow so today will be a big day crossing UT, ID and into OR - but I love being out west again! Saw a Magnum truck parked last night in WY on the way through.

The bunk heater is on the fritz, oh well will send a note to Chad to let him know I'm going to idle until I can get into TK. Y'all be safe out there!

Any of you parked at the J in Ruther Glen, Va? Cleanest truck in the parking lot.

That's definitely not me. Mines the dirtiest tractor on the road!

If anyone is still on the road and in northern Indiana, be careful. The road is quickly turning into a skating rink. The last 30 miles once I got off the turnpike in South Bend took a good 50 minutes. I was down to around 45 when I got on an embankment with a pretty healthy slope on a left hand curve, when my whole rig just simply slid down to the left hand shoulder from just gravity and ice. Road it out and kept her in the pavement by inches. Luckily, no one was in the left lane or it would have been bad. Limped the last 20ish miles to the next place I could shut her down, which was also where I was trying to get to anyways.

Glad you and the pooch are OK, stuck just over the OR border myself, fog and slick conditions have shut down I-84 in both directions, hopefully the customer will be flexible with the delivery.

    Drive safe in the morning.

    Ordy19 and HeavyHauler33 Thank this.

Yeah, I had to pull my seat out of my drawers. I just can't believe it froze so quick. It was literally minutes, and it isn't even that cold. I think if I wouldn't have spent my youth pulling trailers in Nebraska on the farm, plus my first 2 years with a CDL driving in Wyoming, I might not be conditioned so well into NOT having a knee jerk reaction. ESometimes you just have to ride it out...
Hope you made it somewhere safe to park. You drive safe as well!
