I just got Hearthstone on my smartphone. Sounds like you're enjoying Swift. I might be starting with them next week.

Just had a major safety issue with my truck. For the past 3 months I have been telling them something is wrong with my steering mechanics and truck pulls to the right in an unsafe manner.
They refused to send it to a dealer or properly resolve the problem.
Last night I was driving and the entire steering column collapsed in my lap as I was switching lanes.
I could move the steering wheel up and down and telescope it in and out without even pressing down on the column lock pedal. I didn't crash, but I went into the shoulder and almost into the dirt.
I cleaned out my truck and am looking for a safer company.

I will not put up with the zero amenities, risk my Life or CDL with this company any longer.

Wow, fortunate that you did not wreck. Very bad company for sure, care not for safety for you and others.

At the end of your day document in the DVIR that the steering mechanism is broken. Contact Onroad for a solution far away from a terminal-- they have to send you to a competent shop.

spectacle13, HousTank and GWS Thank this.

Thanks for that tip, but I am done with the company.
I cleaned out my truck last night and returned the truck and key to them.

    "Safety First" What a joke...

Really?? Was Swift that bad? I thought they were giving new trucks?
Surprised you are quitting over that but must have been some other things?
Was the pay pretty bad? I don't really want to spend 4 weeks with a mentor for crap pay.

it's not that great of pay for a new driver. You'll probably see a lot of weeks at 3-500 while you train and first go solo

    Lightside Thanks this.
