Sleep Study Rip-Off

    Had a friend to a sleep study for a company and failed. He paid out of pocket and went to two sleep clinics and the results were all different. The two he paid for he passed but the carrier refused the results that they had a contract with Concentra. Another driver got his results back 4 months after he started with the driving for a company that he did not pass and Concentra pulled his physical card.
    This is the biggest BS that drivers have to endure under the current laws.

    If I passed 2 sleep studies, and the company would not honor them, I would find another company quickly. And I might also let the DOT know of this.

    Which company are we talking about?

    These kind of tests should be paid prior to by company not the future employee. Its a sure sign to walk away right then and there if they say otherwise.

    You got to do your research before you take you medical exam. find one that is not connected or getting kick backs for send people to a sleep study.. trucking co are getting in on the deal also like prime open it's own sleep clinic than takes in out of your pay at $2800

    It cost me $1800.00 to find out what I already knew, I did not have sleep apnea.
