Hello - The Reefer Unit showed a CODE 23 and the driver cleared the code, After clearing the code reefer unit started again. I checked online it Code 23 is RED and it says "Cooling Cycle Fault"

My main concern is that we were hauling a load of -10F. When the driver cleared the code and restarted the reefer unit, it showed the temp of 6F but it's coming down slowly as I type this message it is now at -7F

Do you think the load is messed up?

From my experience receivers aren't super strict on frozen loads. I've heard they can be with ice cream (-20°) because frost starts to develop. But that is moot. I've often set start-stop range for 8-10°, depending upon the product and customer, and never had a problem. I wouldn't put off trying to figure out why it coded and shut down.

Cooling Cycle Fault (Zone)(23) - Clear it first, if it stays away you should be good. If it codes out again, you'll want to call Dispatch to get routed to a ThermoKing for refrigeration issues.
