I must have been about 10 minutes behind this crash. Was a east bound truck of some sort, maybe a straight truck. No information can be currently be found with web search.

From the massive damage that occurred in a very short distance, it seems the truck was dropped from an airplane flying at 100 knots and 2,000 feet AGL, and you see the result. I can not being to understand what might have transpired there and how the truck suffered so much damage (obliterated practically). Damnedest crash I've seen in a long time. Had to have been fatality(ies)

Kind of looks like it may have flipped end over end [more then once] in the process

No. No wind at all. Maybe a light SE'ly wind, less then 10-15 MPH Traffic density was typically light for a beautiful, warm Friday midday in the middle of Wyoming.

Maybe. The crash trail did not seem very long IMO. Maybe 200 feet. But the speed limit is 80 and some works trucks can actually run that fast, and do.

There were rubber skid marks that began about 6 feet in from the median grass that followed the same trajectory as the crash debris

Probably. An ejection or two seems totally likely in that crash.

Not windy? In Wyoming? Did the world end and no one told us? I thought that Wyoming's state motto was "Hey, it just blows here".
