    Got an email (and noticed the website press release) that Werner are raising their 48-state Solo driver pay. An increase of $.05

    Thoughts?

    Werner could pay their drivers 50¢ a mile and I STILL wouldn't work for them.

    It don't matter how much they raise the pay if your average miles go down so your pay stays the same as before the raise.

    Good for the drivers...
    This is good sign for the industry in general. The mega's control the industry standard pay rates.

    Expect to see more mega's following suite to stay competative.
